Deviations for random sums indexed by the generations of a branching process

چکیده
Applying the results about harmonic moments of classical Galton-Watson process, we obtain deviations for random sums indexed by generations a branching process. Our show that decay rates large and moderate depend heavily on degree heavy tail asymptotic distributions normalizing constants. If underlying process belongs to Schr?der case, both deviation probabilities three rates, where critical case depends index. Else if B?ttcher there are only two rate probabilities. Simulations also given illustrate our results.

Extreme deviations for sums of random variables
Stretched exponential probability density functions (pdf), having the form of the exponential of minus a fractional power of the argument, are commonly found in turbulence and other areas. They can arise because of an underlying random multiplicative process. For this, a theory of extreme deviations is developed, devoted to the far tail of the pdf of the sum X of a finite number n of independen...

متن کاملSpread of visited sites of a random walk along the generations of a branching process
In this paper we consider a null recurrent random walk in random environment on a super-critical Galton-Watson tree. We consider the case where the log-Laplace transform ψ of the branching process satisfies ψ(1) = ψ′(1) = 0 for which G. Faraud, Y. Hu and Z. Shi have shown that, with probability one, the largest generation visited by the walk, until the instant n, is of the order of (logn). We h...
